Originally from France, Alexandra’s yoga journey began a decade ago in the Middle East, where she discovered the flowing movements of Vinyasa yoga while seeking a respite from her demanding role as a Sales Manager. Captivated by yoga's calming and balancing effects, she continued her practice in France and in Switzerland, where she found her way to Hatha yoga. Bryanna Weiche
Originally from Los Angeles, California, Bryanna found yoga when she was 17 after being diagnosed with scoliosis. Coming from the world of competitive sports, this was a tough transition to make. She took some time away from yoga to focus on other things, but in 2017 she was called back to it. After moving from L.A to Zürich in 2015, she was feeling ungrounded and unsure of her life in Europe. After a couple of years, yoga provided a way to ground herself to her new home and reminded her how to come back to herself. In 2019, she completed her 200 hours teacher training at Sanapurna and began teaching right away.
Being a student of literature, Bryanna loves the mythological side of yoga and tries to bring an aspect of storytelling to her classes. She teaches that yoga is more than postures, using not just asanas but pranayama, chakra awareness and sound healing as well. Her classes are suitable for all levels, with the yoga practice being a combination of traditional Hatha yoga and Vinyasa flow, with a focus on strengthening and spinal health awareness.

Christopher Moffitt
I grew up on Gozo, a small quiet island in the Mediterranean. Being surrounded by the sea my first job was teaching diving, a total different discipline but with exactly the same feeling of space, freedom and calming of mind. I have since become an art restorer, a quiet profession that needs mindfulness and patience.
Yoga has been a part of my life for over 12 years, In the beginning I was rather sceptical but as time passed my practice helped me grow stronger, more flexible and fearless, both on and off the mat. I went through different styles of yoga including Iyengar and Ashtanga. Yoga inspires me to relive the peace I experience on the mat in my daily life
I started teaching Yoga after completing my 200 hour RYT at Sanapurna. I will always be a student of the practice and am deeply grateful for the compassionate wisdom all my teachers have shared with me.
My yoga class tends to be sweaty with creative sequencing, a spirit of playfulness, mindfulness, building up strength, while making sure that the students are instructed to carry out the asanas in a safe manner. Meditation and pranayama start and end the class while discovering the meditative side of asanas during practice
I seek to help others see their potentiality, not to give up and trust in themselves and have patience.
What inspires me? My own mistakes.- Languages English, German

Jeanette Kuster
Jeanette started doing yoga back in 1993, after her doctor told her that it could help with her asthma. Even though she loved the calming effect it had on her, she lost the connection to yoga a couple of years later and didn’t go back to it for two decades. The second time round she was drawn into the practice completely, though, as she could feel the immense positive impact yoga had on both her body and her mind.
In 2017 she did the «Rainbow Kids and Family Yoga Teacher Training» in order to learn more about doing yoga with her own kids. She enjoyed it so much that she started teaching Kids Yoga classes, even though she had never intended to become a yoga teacher. She soon felt the urge to learn more and did the 200h TTC at Sanapurna - immediately afterwards she started teaching Hatha Yoga, too. In 2019 she did the Yoga Nidra TTC, 2020/2021 the 300h Advanced TTC.
Jeanette is a big fan of pranayama and likes to integrate breathing exercises in every class. She combines longer holds of the asanas with flowing sequences and gives different options where needed. Even though she always has a plan in which direction her class should go, she likes to weave in the wishes of the students.
What inspires Jeanette: «My kids inspire me because they see things differently from us grown-ups.»
Jeanette teaches in English and German.

Mélanie Huser
Had Mélanie known to which extent yoga would change her life, she probably wouldn’t have dared to start with it. As an emergency care medical doctor she came from a success-oriented, fast-paced world and turned to yoga in an attempt to wind down – and, to her surprise, she instantaneously fell in love with it. The initial fascination for the physical workout soon developed into a deep enchantment for also the mental and spiritual benefits – oh how did she enjoy the formerly unknown awareness and peace which yoga gifted her! Ever since completing her 200h teacher training at Frog Lotus International in September 2012 she has been teaching Vinyasa Flow yoga in her hometown, Zurich (Switzerland) and internationally.
Over the years Mélanie expanded her yoga horizon by also incorporating yin yoga, a subtler form of yoga with long held stretches and meditative mindfulness, into her practice and into her teaching. She completed her 500h training in 2015 and, as a passionate Acro-Yogi and a certified AcroYoga instructor, she happily shares its playful acrobatic elements. Since 2013 Mélanie moreover works as an anatomy instructor for the Yogalife yoga teacher trainings in Switzerland and Belgium, as well as for other schools in Europe and Bali.
Her yoga classes are a combination of strong vinyasa flows with deep introspection - expect to be challenged both physically and mentally, and to leave the class blissed out with a smile on your face.- Languages English, German

Robin Pola
Robin was introduced to yoga as a teenager and used the practice regularly to complement her active lifestyle. However, it was only as a wife and working mother of two that her yoga practice took on new meaning and depth, helping her find balance, patience, and stillness amidst the hecticness of daily life. One of her favorite quotes that definitely pertains to her yogic journey is, "Yoga is a house and asana (the physical practice) seems to be the door that most people walk through first. Welcome.” While the asana practice has certainly benefited her physically, yoga as a whole has benefitted her in ways she had never imagined, teaching her patience, acceptance, playfulness, compassion, and resilience.
Robin completed her teacher training at Sanapurna in 2022 with the intention of deepening her personal practice. Along the way, she discovered her love of sharing yoga with others and has been teaching ever since. She enjoys challenging her students to push their boundaries and explore unknown depths within themselves. Her practice is inspired by hatha and vinyasa-based yoga styles.- Languages English, German

Anna Sullivan
Anna's yoga path started in 2010 when she attended her first Vinyasa class in Virginia, USA. Sweaty, sore and totally in love with the practice, she drove home to tell her family, friends, everyone she knew that she had found 'it'. That indescribable thing that made her heart sing and lit a fire in her soul.
So began her life-long journey of self-discovery through the practices of yoga. The practices which have carried her and provided anchoring through monumental life changes, brought and end to her anxiety/depression disorder and filled her life with meaning, unconditional love and the space to let things be and surrender to the Divine. Anna believes that we all have this hidden potential within us that is always nudging us to reveal it and let it shine. When we listen to that inner voice that is pointing us in the direction of our higher selves, things begin to flow. The discomfort we feel from within starts to subside. We feel ourselves stepping onto the path that was somehow made just for us. Anna is a passionate yoga teacher and facilitator. Her teaching style is Hatha Yoga by training with a spice of Vinyasa from her years of experience on the mat. She is inspired by nature, the seasons, her teachers and the way that every day life can teach us new and unexpected lessons each day.- Languages English
Brittney Kanuga
Brittney began practicing yoga as a teenager. She grew up in a very cold, northern Canadian city and quickly fell in love with how hot yoga classes energized and warmed her during the long winters. She was amazed by how a regular yoga practice not only promotes strength and flexibility, but increases one's sense of awareness, mindfulness and purpose. Inspired to share her passion and these benefits with others, Brittney became a yoga teacher in 2015. Since then she has been teaching a variety of Hatha, Vinyasa and Yin Yoga classes to people of all ages, including workshops for children and teens. Selina Berni
I started practicing Yoga around 2008 when a friend asked if I'll come to a class with her. I love to try out new things, so I said 'yes'! It felt like coming home - I came out of that very first Savasana and I knew I'd come back for more :).
The journey of life and yoga has since taken me down different routes of exploring the practice of yoga, mindfulness and meditation. I've had the opportunity to practice and learn from different teachers around the globe. And it's through all these experiences that I've found my very own Sadhana and what resonates with me. Yoga is where I find back to myself. Where I find balance and a deep connection to a natural stillness within.
My intention for teaching is to guide the individual Yogi/Yogini to discover their very own way of practicing, even in a group setting. While I guide with cues and attention to ahimsa, I also provide enough room for the individual journey and expression - either by giving options or by creating space for contemplation and silence. Yoga is a practice of mindfulness - whether we move or be still - the breath and a loving awareness are the anchors for practicing and the way I teach. The classes I teach are well balanced, with elements of grounding and uplifting, of strength and softening. An invitation to connect to your natural stillness within and take that connection with you, off the mat.
I feel inspired by nature and simple acts of kindness. I also find inspiration by reading books from teachers I connect to as well as conversations around personal growth and healing. My heart connects deeply to the practice of chanting Mantras and Kirtan.
I teach in English as it feels most natural to me, but I speak and teach in Swiss German when appropriate.- Languages English, Swiss & German

Adrian Gall
Adrian attended his first yoga class about 12 years ago. Because it was so "easy", quickly over lunch. As a balance to climbing and other sports. Initially an on/off relationship, after a few years yoga has become an integral part of his life.
Still searching, he began to look deeper into meditation around 2016. Inspired by the serenity Adrian could draw for himself from the yoga practice and meditation, he decided to complete the 200h training with Padma Nair in India in 2019. Afterwards he was privileged to teach in Asia and since 2020 also in Switzerland. In autumn 2021 he will complete his ATTC 300h at Sanapurna. Adrian teaches classical Hatha Yoga influenced by the teachings of Swami Sivananda, but also integrates other elements. He attaches great importance to feeling the space and the emotions of the participants and adapting the teaching to this. Meditation and pranayama are important to him and are included in the practice alongside the asanas.- Languages English & (Swiss)German
Thomas Woller
I found myself always on the move from very early on, at times very much to the despair of others. So naturally my first Yoga Class was a way to move more. From there it went a little rocky, I enjoyed the practise, but it didn't click. After having relocated from South Africa to Switzerland for work and deep diving into my job, I needed to find balance and move physically and ground myself mentally. So, I decided to give Yoga another chance and walked into Sanapurna in 2018. And here it all came together, I fell in love with the stillness, the movement and started to rediscover a path to balance and well-being. In December 2020 I finished my Yoga Teacher training and May 2021 my Yoga Nidra Training; both at Sanapurna.
My Yoga Classes are Hatha-based and usually an interplay between slower, deeper Asanas, movements such a Surya Namaskar – Sun Salutations and Pranayama or chanting a Mantra. The practise that is truly close to my heart however is Yoga Nidra - yogic sleep. So, depending on the length of the class I like to take time and let students experience this profound form of a guided meditation at the end. I am happy to try to accommodate my students wishes in any class.
Although my classes are planned and usually thought in English, I also speak German.- Languages English & German

Céline Engeler
Céline’s yoga journey started shortly after her first yoga classes in Hongkong. With every class she began to realize and feel that yoga is not only an exercise of the different asanas, but goes way beyond that. The silence of the mind, the sense of being grounded while at the same time, flowing. The connection and power of the breath. The healing power of each movement leads one through everything. With the practice you will you will elevate, evolve and expand.
Céline has completed her first vinyasa teacher training with Laughing Lotus in New York. She also completed a more technical and alignment based teacher training with Adam Hussler from London. Céline is also certified yin yoga teacher. To deepen her understanding and connection between Yoga and Ayurveda she completed her Ayurvedic Yoga TherapyCertification from the University of Ayurveda in California.
You can expect powerful, challenging, playful classes with a strong focus on alignment and the breath.- Languages English & German
Larissa Greutmann
After I had to stop my dance education due to various injuries I was looking for a way to keep my body moving in a natural and fulfilling way without hurting it any longer. So this is how I found yoga. I soon realized the gentle way I used yoga was healthier for me. I immediately felt very familiar with the movements and poses yoga uses to build up strength. Therefore, I kept going to classes. And the more I went, the more I also learnt to let go of my body and especially of my expectations towards my body.
So, yoga showed me how to listen to my body, to take it slow, when it needs to and to go all in, when it wants to. And the most important lesson: that I do not have to perform to the very limit in every single class.
It took me a while to come to this conclusion and this is the reason why I also want to bring that into my classes and create a space to work with one’s body not against it.
I soon realized I wanted to know more about the practice, so in 2021 I decided to join the Yoga Teacher Training. I mainly joined to learn more about the execution, benefits and impact of the asanas. But the training showed me a whole new, deeper level of my practice and I was blown away about all the connections between body and mind and all the spiritual aspects. This was also the point where I really started to appreciate pranayama and meditation. And most importantly: It showed me my undetected passion for teaching.
My class is a very dynamic Hatha-Flow inspired by the constellation of the moon. I love to build up heat and create & share a strong energy for everyone in the room. The class might get a little sweaty at some point but always in a way that works for your body. The pose or the asana is not the goal, the impact of the asana is. And this goal can be reached no matter what your current state you are in, physically or mentally.- Languages English & German
Melanie Outman
Melanie’s very first step into yoga was when she found meditation at age 18. Soon she discovered it to be an invaluable tool and fixed element in her daily life. Naturally, meditation led to yoga and soon she knew, one day she will complete a yoga teacher training and become a teacher. Her very first job at a yoga studio involved cleaning mats after her day job in San Francisco - she’d do anything to get more time to practice. A few years later, in 2020 and back in Switzerland, she finally completed her 200h teacher training at Sanapurna Ayurveda. A journey began, not only one to teaching others but one to finding self in ways she had never even dared to imagine.
Today she is teaching classes that combine the beautiful softness of the inner journey with her love for strengthening the body through physical exercise. Her main influence stems from hatha and vinyasa based yoga styles.

Purva Steiner
I was born and raised in the capital of India, Dehli. Yoga is a part of my culture and I got introduced to it as I was growing up. At the age of 16, I started my journey in Yoga and classical ballet. After some years of training in India, I auditioned in Europe to advance my training in ballet and I found a school in Switzerland to do a three year diploma course to become a professional dancer and teacher.
Due to an injury in 2020, I had to take a break from ballet for a year. During this time, my interest in Yoga arose again and I went back home to India to do a certification in Yoga to become a teacher. While I was doing this Yoga course, I rediscovered my spiritual side and it brought me an immense joy and strength within myself.
Yoga made me learn the importance of being in the moment and through meditation my mind learnt the importance of stillness. I got into teaching Yoga to share my knowledge, which I have learned since I started Yoga as a teenager. As an Indian it gives me a great satisfaction to share a part of my culture. My classes are designed to focus on strength, flexibility and pranayama.- Languages English

Meet Patricia, a dedicated and passionate therapist who discovered her calling at Sanapurna in 2021, where Thai Yoga Massage became the catalyst for a new chapter in her life. Patricia pursued her journey in the art of Thai Yoga Massage at Sunshine House in Greece and at Lulyani School in France.
In parallel to her Thai Massage training, Patricia decided to venture into the realm of Yoga, realizing the incredible synergy between the two disciplines. She completed her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training Course (TTC) at Sanapurna in 2022, and then embarked on a 300-hour Yoga Teacher Training Course (TTC) journey.
Patricia is not only active in the world of well-being but also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). The delicate balance she finds between her professional career and her dedication to yoga and Thai Yoga Massage enriches her life, and this sense of balance emanates through her treatments and classes.- Languages English & German
