For Registrations (classes, workshops & trainings) and Online purchases PREAMBLE

The following Terms & Conditions apply to all services and products offered by Sanapurna GmbH. Should any regulations be or become invalid, outstanding terms & conditions shall remain valid. The ineffective regulation will be replaced by the statutory regulation. When placing any order, the customer declares agreement with these Terms & Conditions.

ARTICLE 2 – SERVICES AND PRODUCTS

2.1. Services
Services offered are those presented on the Website and in the Sanapurna studio. They include Yoga classes, workshops, intensive trainings, retreats, Ayurveda therapy, massages and treatments.

These services are offered in the form of:
- Classes packages: eligible for a specific number of courses or sessions;
- Abos: eligible for unlimited practice for a set duration of time.

The proposed services result in booking a session or an individual or group lessons. Booking can be made directly on the website or in the Sanapurna studio.

  • Discount policy vary per event. Please enquire for details.
  • A valid identification document must be presented.

2.2. Sanapurna Reservation Rules
The Online-Reservation system is available for use on the Sanapurna website.
Sanapurna encourages the clients to use this tool to reserve their space in classes and avoid any disappointment in case the class is fully booked.

2.2.1. Accessing the reservation system:
- Sanapurna Members with a valid Set of Classes or Unlimited Pass: can register themselves by creating a User ID and Password then place their reservations.
- Sanapurna Members without a valid Sanapurna Set of Classes or Pass: can register themselves in the system, but can only make reservations once they have purchased a Set of Classes or a Pass at the Sanapurna studio.
- New members: should place their class reservations per email at hello@sanapurna.ch.

2.2.2. Reservation rules:
- Online reservations can be placed up to 1 month in advance and up to 1 hour before the desired class begins
- Should the desired class be fully booked, members can place themselves on an online waiting list. An automatic email will be sent in case space becomes available.
- Sanapurna kindly asks clients to be mindful of other clients and to cancel their reservation online as soon as possible in case they cannot attend in order to allow space for everyone wishing to attend.

Sanapurna members can continue to attend our classes without prior reservation. In this case, it is recommended that students arrive at the studio at least 30 minutes before the class starts, especially for evening and weekend classes. However, Sanapurna cannot guarantee that there will be free places available.

2.3. Products
The products offered for sale on the site and in the studio are essentially yoga supplies.

ARTICLE 3 – PRICING

3.1. Prices
All prices are in Swiss francs (CHF) inclusive of statutory value-added tax (VAT CHE 402-847.297). Prices changes and errors are reserved. Prices of products and services are those in effect at the time of ordering.

3.2. Discount Policy
Sanapurna offers discount rate for apprentices, pupils, students, seniors and unemployed persons as well as Kulturlegi holders and Sanapurna Teacher Training students.

A valid identification document must be presented.
There are no discounts for workshops, retreats and trainings.

ARTICLE 4 – PURCHASES AND ORDERS

Any order is worth express and irrevocable acceptance of prices and descriptions of the products and services, as well as these terms and conditions.
In case the ordered good is no longer available, we are entitled to offer a price or performance equivalent product or to withdraw from the contract. If necessary we will refund payments already received.
It is agreed that the goods delivered and invoiced to the customer remain the property of Sanapurna until full payment of their price is received.

ARTICLE 5 – PAYMENT

We offer the following payment methods:

Prepayment must be done within 10 days of date of invoice. Delivery will be organised upon receipt of payment on our bank account.

ARTICLE 6 – DELIVERY

Online purchases are done using the online order form. You will receive an email confirming your order as soon as you have completed ordering online.
The products ordered will be delivered to the address given by the customer when ordering. Delivery costs are calculated automatically when placing the online order.
Delivery times depend in particular on the availability of products and on the required address of delivery. Once the order is received by Sanapurna it will be processed and prepared for delivery within a week. The shipment will be sent by Swiss Post. The buyer may normally expect the order to be delivered within 14 days. These times are indicative only and cannot be guaranteed, which the client expressly accepts. In case of delayed shipment, Sanapurna GmbH will inform the customer by telephone or email.
We do not offer international deliveries outside of Switzerland.
For orders of services (yoga classes or therapy treatments), the purchase will be automatically loaded in the customer’s account and Key Tag given to the customer during his/her first visit to the Sanapurna studio.

ARTICLE 7 – REFUNDS, CANCELLATION AND VALIDITY OF SERVICES

7.1. Refund and Cancellation Policy
Sanapurna passes are intended solely for the personal use by the individual purchasing them. They are non transferable and non refundable. The validity time of the series of each abo type is set and detailed in the designated paragraph below. Passes that have been purchased, but remain partially or wholly unused are invalidated after their expiration date. There is no refund granted for expired passes.

  • Scheduled dates for private lessons are binding and will be fully charged unless they are cancelled 24 hours in advance
Therapy treatments and Massages
  • Scheduled appointments for Therapy treatments and Massages are binding and will be fully charged unless they are cancelled 24 hours in advance.
Retreats/Workshops
  • Booked retreats require mandatory attendance
  • Advanced notification must be given to consider a refund
  • Cancellation charges:
    • 21 days before arrival: free cancellation – no charges applied
    • 10 days before arrival: 50% charge applied
    • Less than 10 days before arrival: 100% charge applied
  • No compensation may be granted for early departure. Late arrivals will be treated as “no show” and charged.
Teacher Training Programs
  • The application fee CHF 500.- (for 200h & 300h TTC) & CHF 200.- (for other TTCs) is non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstances.
  • Cancellation one week before start date: no refund.
  • Cancellation more than 7 days before start date: 50% refund.
  • Cancellation more than 30 days before start date: the course fee (excluding the application fee) will be returned.
  • The final confirmation of the course will be 2-3 weeks ahead of the starting date. The Sanapurna team is not liable if the course is postponed or cancelled. If you are making any travel arrangements prior to this confirmation, we would advise you to consider cancellation insurance as Sanapurna cannot be responsible for any costs incurred for the cancellation of your travel.

7.2. Pass Validity, Extensions and Interruptions
Running series of 5 or 10 classes and 1, 3, 6 or 12 months passes can be interrupted due to illness, accidents or pregnancy. Such pauses must be requested immediately in writing at yoga@sanapurna.ch A medical certificate stating that you cannot do sports (e.g. yoga) or physical activities must be provided to support your request.

7.3. Modification of Teacher and Studio Schedule
Modifications made by Sanapurna to the studio or teacher schedule can occur at any time. No reimbursement will be made based on occurring changes.

ARTICLE 8 - EXCHANGE AND RETURNS OF GOODS

All purchases of products made on our online shop or the Sanapurna studio are final.

ARTICLE 9 - CONSUMER DATA PRIVACY POLICY

9.1. Privacy
Any personal data we request is necessary for business purpose only and is stored according to data protection regulations. It goes without saying for us that we treat all personal information as confidential. We guarantee not to disclose your data in any way to unauthorized third parties and to protect them from any unauthorized access.

9.2. Data Protection
Based on Article 13 of the Swiss Federal Constitution and the Federal data protection provisions (Datenschutzgesetz – Data Protection Law) every person has the right to protect their private sphere and to prevent the misuse of their personal data. We comply with these provisions. Personal data is treated as strictly confidential and is not sold or transferred to third parties. In close cooperation with our hosting providers we strive to protect the database as best as possible from external access, loss, misuse or falsification. When accessing our websites the following data is saved in log files: IP address, date, time, browser request and general information about the operating system or browser. This usage data forms the basis for statistical, anonymous evaluations, so that trends can be recognised which we can use to correspondingly improve our offers.

9.3. Data protection declaration for the use of Facebook plugins (like button)
Our website uses integrated plugins of the social network Facebook, 1601 South California Avenue, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA. The Facebook plugins can be recognised by the Facebook logo or the “like button” on our website. You can see an overview of the Facebook plugins here: http://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/.
When you visit our website, a direct connection is created by the plugin between your browser and the Facebook server. Facebook thereby receives the information that you have visited our website stating your IP address. If you click on the Facebook “like button” while you are logged onto your Facebook account, you can link the content of our website to your Facebook profile. This allows Facebook to allocate the visit of our website to your user account. We hereby point out that, as the provider of the website, we have no knowledge about the content of the transferred data or its use by Facebook.
